传说网络上有一个名为Death Tube的神秘网站，每年只短暂开放几次，并且服务器设置在国外。该网站上充满各种对人进行虐杀的死亡视频，视频不单单看起来真实，更是现场真实发生的凶案。每次开放都有无数网民出于各种心理观看直播，虽然死亡时常出现，可是却没人能够找到网站和操纵者的真身。 平凡人井上悟一觉醒来，发现自己置身一个封闭的房间内。从桌子上的电脑发现，自己竟然也成了Death Tube的直播对象。他必须和权藤大介、牧田彰吾、稻村真美、河野俊树、佐伯弘、前川祐树、花卷惠子等7名被囚禁者通力合作，通过组织者提出的所有死亡挑战……
